12th Feb 2025 “Nation Together” Common Sense Journalism from United In Britain / No! Cymru – shining a light through the myths of the ‘Independence Cabal’ .
When we formed our campaign organisation, it was done for sound reasons, an unshakeable belief that we are bound together not only by economic necessity, but also by our sense of shared identity. As we look forward to building our movement throughout 2025, we need your support, to continue to build our movement. Join us, help us, campaign with us, we are the builders, not the wreckers! We were built right here in Wales, but we were made in the United Kingdom. Built from scratch, and built with passion & belief.

1.0 Economic Stability and Support
Wales benefits from significant financial support from the UK Treasury, including the Barnett Formula, which ensures funding for health & education. In 2023, we received a whopping £18 Billion more than all revenue recovered in Wales.
2.0 Shared Defence and Security
Wales is part of the UK’s robust defence network, which includes NATO membership, shared intelligence, and access to a unified Armed Forces structure. There would be significant defence & security risks for the entire British Isles, not just Wales, due to its strategic position within the United Kingdom. Wales provides significant Land, Sea & Air assets to the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, British Army, Merchant Navy & other Civilian bodies, which are integrated across the United Kingdom, providing shared security for us all, across the British Isles.
3.0 Access to United Kingdom Wide Opportunities
Welsh citizens enjoy unrestricted access to jobs, education, and healthcare across the UK without the need for visas or additional bureaucracy. This could be put at serious risk, affecting free movement of goods, services & people.
4.0 Strong Cultural and Historical Ties
Wales shares centuries of history, culture, and traditions with the other Nations of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, fostering a deep sense of shared history and identity. We only have to look at our history to realise that We Walk Tall, When We Walk Together.
5.0 Influence on the Global Stage
As part of the UK, Wales contributes to and benefits from being part of one of the world’s largest economies and a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. These are positive benefits for the entire British Isles, providing a strong voice for us all.
6.0 Mutual Trade Benefits
The seamless trade relationships within the UK internal market ensures no barriers or tariffs, benefiting businesses and industries in Wales, particularly agriculture and manufacturing. Trade across our biggest ‘Internal Market’ brings huge benefits to us all.
7.0. British / Welsh Identity and Solidarity
Many people in Wales identify as both Welsh and British, finding strength in being part of a diverse and United Kingdom rather than standing dangerously alone in the World.
8.0 Infrastructure and Development Investments
UK government funding has supported significant infrastructure projects in Wales, such as railways, roads, and urban regeneration.
9.0 Avoidance of Economic Uncertainty
Independence could lead to significant financial risks, including questions about currency, debt allocation, and trade relations, which are currently secure within the United Kingdom. The ‘Siren Voices’ of Separatism would weaken our Economy, Infrastructure, lead to large scale Job Losses, Taxes would almost certainly have to rise, Public Services could suffer badly, Businesses would almost certainly relocate as a result of Tax rises, Trade between other parts of the UK would suffer significant disruption and ‘Hard Borders’ could limit social mobility with border checks on goods, services & people.
10.0 Stronger Together in Times of Crisis
Whether during the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, or other emergencies, Wales has benefited from being part of a larger political entity that can coordinate emergency support.
United In Britain (No! Cymru) – the campaign against Welsh separation & dystopian wasteland economics, will continue to build partnerships with other Pro UK organisations. We are a positive movement that fundamentally believes in a ‘Strong Wales in a Strong United Kingdom’ & opposes Welsh Independence. We don’t want barbed wire & border posts separating us!
One of the most important things for our young movement are our members, after all members are our soul – the glue that binds us together, the bonds that make us who we are, members have been inspirational in ideas, and helped ensure we are able to put those ideas into action. We have to thank our members & supporters for everything they have done to help make these events the success they were. All members across the United Kingdom automatically join #ForwardTogetherRewards Prize Draws.
We need to reject the constant sniping and division that comes from the ‘Separatists’ who agitate, against our Country. We oppose Welsh Separation full stop, based on the SEPS Principles.

We are United In Britain – We are No! Cymru – Embrace Unity, Reject Separatism
We believe absolutely in the solidarity and unity of the British people, who have always stood ‘shoulder to shoulder’ together in an unstable world. We are better together as one United Kingdom, supporting each other as we have always done throughout our shared history, facing up to our challenges together both in wartime and in peacetime. We are a ‘Pro UK organisation’ not affiliated with any political party.
